Seventy-Two

When people lose their natural

sense of wonder and awe,

they begin to depend on external authority.

When people no longer trust themselves,

they can lose themselves in the shadowy

appearances of things.

Humans are born with a unique and reliable

internal guidance system.

We despair when we forget

that private line,

that connection to Source.

Our connection to Source is unconditional.

Connection is not earned and it is never lost.

It is not based on merit,

good deeds or superstition.

One need only stop talking

long enough to remember.

What the heart desires

already exists.
