Real leaders do not use violence

to conquer the world.

Extreme force tends to encourage more resistance.

Violence, even with good intentions,

backfires.

Action motivated by fear and anger

brings hardship and difficulty

to its original source.

Real leaders do not become seduced by money

or power.

Real leaders are ordinary people

who do the jobs that need to be done.

They are not proud.

Because they believe in themselves,

they don't try to impress others.

Because they are content with themselves,

they don't seek approval from others.

They are accepted simply

because they accept themselves.
